Health Professions Council registration – what is it?

‘Chiropodist’ is a protected title under the Health Professions Council. Since July 2003 chiropodists/podiatrists must be registered to use this title.
This guarantees that your chiropodist has met the governing body’s minimum standards, and has to comply with their code of conduct, which is available to view at www.hpc-uk.org

British Chiropody and Podiatry Association

Sue Leech, Membership number 95021001, a member of the British Chiropody and Podiatry Association, which entitles use of the letters BCPA.
The Association provides education and support for members, encourages continual professional development, which is monitored by the HPC, to ensure standards of proficiency and service are maintained.

Should there be any complaint, the association will take up the enquiry and see the problem through to an appropriate resolution.
